If you live or work in or near an area of the wildland
fire near Yankee Canyon in the Kern River Valley, please pay close attention to
this message.
A wildland fire may become a threat to Yankee Canyon in
the Kern River Valley. Yankee Canyon is currently under an Evacuation Warning.
An Evacuation Warning means that the Yankee Fire may become a threat in the
near future, and all residents are advised to be prepared to leave the area at
a moment’s notice if it becomes necessary.
