SUBJECT: Calaveras County Cooling Centers Will Be Open June 17 through June 19

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Due to upcoming excessive heat in our area, Calaveras Public Health will open Cooling Centers at locations throughout Calaveras County. The Cooling Centers will be open Thursday through Saturday, June 17, 2021 through June 19, 2021, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Calaveras Connect will be available to provide on-demand rides to and from the Cooling Centers for anyone needing a ride. Contact Calaveras Connect Customer Service with any questions about their services or to schedule a ride at (209) 754-4450. All rides through Calaveras Connect will be free through December 31, 2021.
