Grand Theft
8700 block Ashcroft Avenue
06/07/2021 @ 1830-0900. An unknown suspect removed the tailgate from a 2021 Toyota Tacoma that was parked on the street. #02195
 
Other Burglary
900 block Doheny Drive
06/07/2021 @ 0524. A man used a key to open the front door and gain access to the mail room and then used the key to open an entire wall of mailboxes and removed mail. #02178

Grand Theft (Suspects Arrested)
Palm Street / Harratt Street (Attempt)
06/09/2021 @ 1415. A man attempted to cut the catalytic converter from a 2003 Honda Element that was parked on the street. The car alarm sounded and the suspect and a woman who was acting as a lookout fled the area in a Black Escalade. A witness notified WHD and both suspects were arrested by responding deputies. #02210

05/28/2021 – 06/09/2021. An unknown suspect cut the lock and removed a bicycle from the secured sub parking garage. #02213

06/10/2021 @ 0338. A man smashed through the drywall to gain access to the business and removed marijuana. #02218
 
Armed Robbery
7700 block Hampton Avenue
06/10/2021 @ 2018. The victim went outside his residence to meet the seller of an item he found for sale online. Once outside, a man approached the victim while armed with a handgun and pushed him to the ground. The suspect took the victims phone and cash from his pockets and fled the area in a vehicle that was parked nearby. #02224 (Note - The West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station allows residents to use the station lobby as a meeting place to conduct online transactions.)
 
Vehicle Burglary
8900 block Norma Place
06/10/2021 @ 1600-0830. An unknown suspect removed a purse containing a wallet and credit cards from the back seat. No sign of forced entry. #02235

Armed Robbery (Attempt)
1000 block N San Vicente Blvd
06/12/2021 @ 0227. As the victim parked his car in the valet area, two men approached him while armed with a handgun and demanded his watch. The victim ran inside the hotel and the suspects fled the area in a vehicle that was parked nearby. No loss. #02244
 
Strong Arm Robbery (Suspect Arrested)
8200 block Santa Monica Blvd
06/12/2021 @ 1415. A man threw a free standing temperature scanner to the ground and stomped on it. The suspect then removed a laptop computer from a workers desk and fled the area on foot. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies and the laptop was recovered. #02251 
 
June 13th
Armed Robbery (Suspect Arrested)
7000 block Santa Monica Blvd
06/13/2021 @ 2113. A man was walking in the alley when the suspect approached him while armed with a knife and demanded his backpack. The victim complied and then ran from the area. The suspect was arrested on 06/14/2021 by patrol deputies. #02265
