SUSPECT: Jonathan Chambers, 18-year-old resident of Mohave Valley, AZ
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, June 17, 2021, at about 5:08 a.m., Deputies from the Colorado River Sheriff’s station/Needles Police were dispatched to the area of Coronado Street and Rio Vista in Needles. A caller reported three males were walking in the area and one of the males had a handgun and pointed it at the victim.
The three males were located on Desoto Street and detained. Jonathan Chambers was found to be in possession of a loaded pistol and was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and booked in the Colorado River Station jail. He is being held on $50,000 bail.
