Want to let everyone know that the heat and lack of wind have led to both a FLEX Alert and a Spare the Air Day being initiated.

FLEX ALERT: 5 - 10 PM residents are asked to:

• Refrain from using Major Appliances  
• Keep thermostats at no lower than 78 degrees
• Turn off unnecessary lights
• Use fans instead of A/C when possible

Spare the Air: During a Spare the Air Alert:

• Limit driving as much as possible
• Avoid using gas-powered devices (lawnmower/leaf blower)
• Avoid outdoor fires or burning

When air quality is low and heat is high, it can be very challenging for the young, the elderly, and those with respiratory issues.

Please do your best to reduce your use of electricity and gas during these times to help everyone #staysafe.
