...HEAT INDEX VALUES 95 TO 100 DEGREES THIS AFTERNOON...
A hot and humid airmass will overspread the region through this
afternoon. High temperatures of around 90 degrees will combine
with high humidities to produce heat index values in the 95 to 100
degree range later this afternoon.
If you have outdoor activities planned for today, be prepared for
the hot conditions. Be sure to drink plenty of water and if
possible, take frequent breaks in a shaded or air conditioned
environment.
