Last week Forest City Officers received multiple reports of fraudulent charges on customers credit cards from Zaxby’s. Today Zaxby’s has issued the following statement in regard to those reports:

“The Zaxby’s located at 217 Plaza Drive in Forest City, NC did not experience a security breach and customer credit card information has not been compromised. Recently, our restaurant experienced an issue in our credit card processing that caused delays in our collections on purchases made between the dates of 5/21/2021 - 6/10/2021. It is important to understand that while there was a delay in processing the charge, no information was compromised. We apologize for any inconvenience or concern this issue has caused our guests. The security of our guests’ data is a top priority, and we will continue to work with our vendors to ensure every necessary protection is in place.
