A search warrant was served at a residence on 2nd Street and two subjects were arrested for narcotics violations

INCIDENT: Operating/Maintaining a Drug House
LOCATION: 12600 block of 2nd St., Yucaipa
SUSPECT(S): Silvia Weiler, 53-year-old resident of Yucaipa
Travis Battjes, 43-year-old resident of Yucaipa
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at approximately 7:40 a.m. the Yucaipa Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) and the Sheriff’s Specialized Enforcement Division (SED) served a search warrant at a residence located in the 12600 block of 2nd Street. The MET Team has received numerous complaints about drug related activity occurring at the residence. During a search of the home, the residents were contacted, and a multitude of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were located.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Silvia Weiler was arrested for operating/maintaining a drug house and Travis Battjes was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
