Yucaipa MET deputies conducted a traffic stop and located 3/4lb. of meth in the engine compartment of the vehicle

INCIDENT: Possession of Controlled Substance for Sale
LOCATION: Avenue E & 1st St. Yucaipa
SUSPECT: Thomas Young, 54-year-old resident of Redlands
SUMMARY: On Thursday, June 3, 2021, at approximately 4:20 p.m. the Yucaipa Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) performed a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the above area. The driver was identified as Thomas Young. During a search of the vehicle, approximately ¾ pound of suspected methamphetamine was located in the engine compartment.
Young was arrested for possession/transportation of a controlled substance for sale.
