One Injured In Crash
 
 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on 06/18/2021 at approximately 2258 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash near the intersection of M-51 and Maple St, Howard Twp, Cass County Michigan.
 
Investigation shows that 41 year old Dowagiac Resident, Robert Foreman, was traveling North Bound on M-51 when he had left the roadway, hitting an embankment and rolling his vehicle. Foreman had been ejected from the vehicle during the accident. Foreman was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital by SMCAS EMS with unknown injuries.
 
A seatbelt was not worn during the crash. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in the incident. Assisting in this crash was Howard Twp Fire, Pokagon Tribal Police and SMCAS EMS. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
