WARNING OF TOWN MEETING
The residents of the Town of Sherman are hereby warned and notified that a Town Meeting will be held “in-person” in the Mallory Town Hall meeting room on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 7PM to act on the following:
1 Authorize an appropriation of $20,000 funded from the accumulated cell tower revenue for farm related maintenance and expenses for the fiscal year of 7/1/2021 through 6/30/2022
2 Authorize an appropriation transfer of $35,000 from the Happy Acres Farm Restricted Fund to the Happy Acres Farm Operating Fund for Contracted Property Management Services for the fiscal year of 7/1/2021 through 6/30/2022
3 Authorize an expenditure of $30,000 from the capital non-recurring fund for the partial funding of a patrol boat for Candlewood Lake Authority as requested by Candlewood Lake Authority for the 2021/2022 budget year
4 Authorize an expenditure of $10,000 from the capital non-recurring fund for the partial funding of miscellaneous capital projects and expenses for Candlewood Lake Authority as requested by Candlewood Lake Authority for the 2021/2022 budget year
5 Authorize an amount not to exceed $35,000 from the capital non-recurring fund to refurbish a 1999 Freightliner tanker with a newly manufactured dump body
6 To authorize an amount not to exceed $25,000 from the capital non-recurring fund to purchase five “8ft. x 8ft. by 20 ft.” storage units from Eagle Leasing Company
7 To enact a “Tax Relief for Disabled Sherman Veterans” town ordinance
