The national weather service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for an area including Van Wert County and counties to our north in Indiana and Ohio until 1 AM. Storms this evening could produce damaging winds and hail. Currently there are a number of severe thunderstorm warnings across extreme northern Indiana with storms moving to the south east. Any storms that would affect our area tonight would be coming from the South Bend area
