Full Notification

On June 20, 2021, at 7 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a juvenile female screaming inside and apartment complex located at 201 West Gibson Street in Haubstadt.  While enroute to the scene a maintenance worker who was working in the complex on a separate issue located the female alone with two other siblings inside an apartment.  Deputy Zach Lienemann and Fort Branch Town Marshal Darrell Parker arrived on scene and began an investigation into the incident.  After contacting the Prosecutor’s Office and the Division of Family Services 29-year-old Jessica Woodby of Haubstadt, who had arrived at the apartment during the investigation was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail.  Upon arriving at the jail Ms. Woodby was charged with three counts of Neglect of a Dependent.  She remains in custody on a $750 bond. 
 
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
