Full Notification

On June 21, 2021, at 12:44 p.m. Officers from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office and Princeton Police Department went to 411 West State Street in Princeton, Indiana to serve an arrest warrant on 39-year-old Benjamin Sands of Princeton.  Upon arriving at the residence Sgt. Vanoven conducted an investigation which resulted in Mr. Sands being taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail Mr. Sands was charged with False Informing and Resisting Law Enforcement.  He is currently in custody on a $650 bond as well as a hold through Pennsylvania for a Theft Warrant.
 
Assisting Sgt. Vanoven in his investigation was Deputy Jennifer Loesch and Princeton Officers Jason Swan and Nefty Padilla.   
 
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
