8700 block Santa Monica Blvd
06/15/2021 @ 1805. The victim was walking on the sidewalk when a man approached him from behind and punched him on the back of his head. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect stood over him and then smashed the victim’s head onto the ground. The suspect fled the area on foot and was arrested by responding deputies. #02280

06/15/2021 @ 0130. After parking his car, the victim was walking SB on Ogden Drive when a man approached him from behind and demanded his backpack and cell phone. The victim complied and the suspect fled the area in a vehicle that was parked nearby. #02276

06/15/2021 @ 1900. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed a laptop computer, IPad, and two suitcases from the interior. #02281

06/17/2021 @ 2100-2115. An unknown suspect removed a guitar bag containing a guitar and laptop computer after it was left momentarily unattended on the ground. #02309

06/17/2021 @ 0030-0130. A woman used an unlocked door to gain entry and removed miscellaneous keys and two vehicle keys from the interior. The suspect used the keys to steal a vehicle that was parked in the sub parking garage. #02295

Aggravated Assault - Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested)

06/18/2021 @ 2030. A man entered the store without wearing a shirt and was asked to leave by security. As he was leaving the store, the suspect struck two customers on their heads while holding a cell phone in his hand. One victim was transported to the hospital for stitches. The suspect was located and arrested by responding deputies. #02326
