Homicide Investigation in the 8200 Block of Monterey Street. No threat to the public. Please avoid the area.

On June 24, 2021, at approximately 1:00 pm, officers responded to a business on the 8200 block of Monterey Street, for a report of a shooting. At arrival, officers found a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. This is an isolated incident, and there is no on-going threat to the public. The scene and investigation are active. Additional information may be released as it is made available. For now, we asked the public to avoid the area.

El 24 de junio de 2021, aproximadamente a la 1:00 pm, los oficiales respondieron a un negocio en la cuadra 8200 de Monterey Street, para recibir un informe de un tiroteo.
