SLPD Arrests Home Invasion and Shooting Suspects 
On Tuesday the 22nd, around noon, SLPD responded to the 15000 block of Swenson Street for an armed home invasion robbery, which was captured in a home surveillance camera.
Officers checked extensively for the suspect and their getaway vehicle.
Around 3:20 PM, officers responded to Greenhouse Marketplace for a shooting. Shots could be heard on the phone as a witness called 911.
Moments later, officers located a vehicle matching the shooting suspect's car in the city's north end.
The suspect from the shooting was apprehended, and a gun was located inside his vehicle. While at the arrest scene, detectives located and stopped the getaway vehicle from the home invasion robbery from Swenson Street. Another gun was recovered from this suspect.
"Understanding the seriousness of both crimes, our officers were relentless in locating the suspects and safely apprehending both armed individuals," said Lt. Ali Khan.
