Prepare for Nighttime Traffic Delays on Main Street Next Week

CalTrans has scheduled road work to take place on Main Street (Hwy 49) from Vallecito Road to Copello Drive between 8:30 pm to 7:00 am on Sunday, June 27; Monday, June 28; Tuesday, June 29; and Wednesday, June 30. The project is expected to be finished at 7:00 am on Thursday, July 1, 2021. (Corrected. Original post had an incorrect end date listed.)
Expect 15 - 20 minute delays and take alternate routes whenever possible.
Parking will be restricted on Main Street from the Angels Creek Bridge (Vallecito Road) to Pine Street from 8:30 pm to 7:00 am on Monday, June 28 and Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

NIGHTTIME DELAYS, PARKING RESTRICTIONS
on State route 49
CALAVERAS COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform crack sealing on State Route 49 to improve the road surface.
Work is scheduled to take place from Vallecito Road in Angels Camp to Copello Drive in Altaville between 8:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 27; Monday, June 28; Tuesday, June 29; and Wednesday, June 30. The project is expected to be finished at 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 31, 2021.
Parking will be restricted on Route 49 in Angels Camp from Angels Creek Bridge to Church Street/Pine Street from 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on Monday, June 28 and Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 15- to 20-minute delays and take alternate routes whenever possible.
Residents should expect noise from the work site. The work is being conducted at night to minimize impact to local businesses.
