The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* All of central Illinois north of I-70.

* Through Sunday morning

* Thunderstorms will continue across the area tonight. After a brief lull in the precipitation late tonight into Saturday morning, additional thunderstorms will develop Saturday afternoon and evening. Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches...with isolated higher amounts is likely. This may result in flash flooding, especially in low-lying and flood prone areas.

River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
