* Flood Warning for... Northern Cherokee County in southeastern Kansas... Crawford County in southeastern Kansas... Barton County in southwestern Missouri... Northern Jasper County in southwestern Missouri...
* Until 830 PM CDT Saturday.
* At 821 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Rain is expected to taper off this morning, however, residual flooding will continue over the next several hours.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pittsburg, Lamar, Girard, Frontenac, Arma, Jasper, Golden City and Liberal.
* AFFECTED AREAS: CHEROKEE, KS ... CRAWFORD, KS ... BARTON, MO ... JASPER, MO
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
