Fireworks are not allowed in Lancaster city limits, but join your friends at AV Fairgrounds for 4th of July Firework Extravaganza! 
This weekend, a large brush fire near 40th Street West and West Avenue L was ignited by a neighbor setting off fireworks.
Lancaster Sheriff's Station would like to once again remind our residents that fireworks are illegal in the city of Lancaster in compliance with the City's municipal code.
Fortunately, the City of Lancaster and the City of Palmdale have teamed up together to present the 2021 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza.
The fun will begin at 5pm with music and food, and the awesome fireworks display is set to start at approximately 9:15pm.
