Full Notification

Cayuga Heights Police Department has resumed the issuing of permits to individuals or organizations for the purposes of vending or soliciting within the village limits.  All permitted persons will be issued a paper permit which they will carry while canvassing.  This permit implies their authorization and registration with the police department.  Any resident that observes an individual canvassing the area without said permit should contact the Cayuga Heights Police Department directly and promptly.  

Two organizations that are currently permitted to solicit within the village and may begin canvassing this afternoon are: Citizens Campaign for the Environment, and Southwestern Advantage-Educational Materials.
