Sheriff's Office Detectives Seek New Homicide Clues
SALIDA, Ca - Detectives with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office are still seeking the public’s assistance with a homicide which took place at 10:00 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2020, in the parking lot of a business in the 4300 block of Salida Boulevard.
Patrol deputies were sent to an assault with a deadly weapon call. When they arrived, they located a male victim in a car who had sustained major life-threatening injuries and needed urgent medical care. The victim later died of his injuries at DMC in Modesto.
No arrests have been made yet, but we do need the community’s help. The victim was 30-year-old Salida resident Jamal Nejat.
