Fairfield’s Fireworks will take place on Saturday; July 3^rd with a rain date of July 5th. 

For detailed information on everything pertaining to the Fireworks display, including traffic plans, parking restrictions and road closures, go to fairfieldct.org/fireworks.

EXPECT SIGNIFICANT DELAYS following the fireworks on Post Road and all streets leading to and from the beach area.  Many towns in our area are not hosting fireworks displays so we are expecting to see a large increase in attendance at our beaches and in boat traffic.

All residents are encouraged to read the detailed information provided at fairfieldct.org/fireworks.  In addition to general information, the link to the police department press release includes:

• Information on the best place to park based on where you are heading after the fireworks to ensure the most expeditious exit.
• Information on when road closures will begin
• A detailed and interactive map of the traffic plan, including the departure routes you will be required to follow.

 Beach area residents are encouraged to walk or bike so as not to add to the vehicle traffic and congestion.
