Be Safe, Be Sane, or Be Fined! Fines for Use, Sales, or Possession of Illegal Fireworks in the City of Carson have increased. 
Carson Sheriff's Station is working hard to ensure our community is safe by conducting illegal firework suppression operations. If you use, sell, or possess illegal fireworks you can be cited for violations. Homeowners you can be fined for firework violations on your property. Throughout the Fourth of July weekend, Carson Station has increased patrol presence and assigned a team dedicated to illegal firework suppression.
Safe and Sane fireworks can only be discharged on:
June 28 from 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm
June 29 from 10:00 am - 10:00 pm
July 3 from 10:00 am - 10:00 pm
July 4 from 10:00 am - 12:00 am
You will be fined $1,000 for the first offense if Safe and Sane fireworks are discharged outside of these hours. Additional fines, up to $3,000 can occur for additional offenses.
