ALL Fireworks are Prohibited in Duarte 
Let's leave fireworks to the experts this Fourth of July!
The City of Duarte will be enforcing restrictions on all fireworks usage for the 2021 July Fourth holiday. Fireworks may not be discharged on the day of July 4th or any other days since the passage of Measure F in November of 2018.
Both Duarte Public Safety and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will have extra patrols out on the holiday and days leading up to it to ensure that restrictions are enforced. Violators of the City's fireworks restrictions may be prosecuted and receive a $1000 fine and/or six months in jail. The California State Fire Marshall has decreed a zero tolerance against illegal fireworks due to drought conditions.
