Stay safe this Independence Day! The Beverly Hills Police & Fire Departments would like to remind the community that fireworks are illegal in the City.
The City of Beverly Hills Municipal Code 5601.1.3 states: "No person shall manufacture, store, offer for sale or discharge any fireworks in the city. Exception: Permitted and approved fireworks in conjunction with city sponsored event."
Leave it to the professionals by visiting any of the fireworks displays all around Los Angeles County organized by reputable organizations this Sunday. We would also like to remind you to keep your pets secured safely inside your home. Remember to update their ID tags and microchip information so they can be returned to you quickly if they run away.
