Please be advised, beginning at approximately 9-9:15 p.m. on Sunday, July 4th, a fireworks display will take place for approximately ten minutes near the island's beachside.
Spectators are encouraged to safely view the fireworks at one of the following public parking areas:
- Oceanview Beach Park
- Great Dunes Beach Park
- Jekyll Island Convention Center parking lot
All owners of domestic pets in the area are reminded that animals might become distressed by fireworks.
As a reminder, the daily parking pass for Sunday, July 4 will be increased (+$4) for this special event. Annual passes will be exempt.
