Call

To report non-emergency illegal firework use, call the Fremont Police Department Dispatch Center at 510-790-6800 x3. Please be prepared to provide dispatchers with details, such as the specific location, description of involved persons and any immediate danger to areas with dry brush and vegetation susceptible to fire. All firework calls will be prioritized with other pending calls for service.

Please be very alert during the Fourth of July holiday season and throughout the summer months with all outdoor activities, and when in or around dry vegetation. The combination of dry grass, low relative humidity, warm temperatures, and strong winds can quickly contribute to extreme fire behavior.

Have a Safe and Happy 4th of July!
