Your Anchorage Fire Department reminds everyone it is unlawful to knowingly sell, possess, or use any fireworks within the Municipality of Anchorage. Please call 311 to report illegal fireworks use. Call 911 only if a fire or significant injury is involved.
Open fires are currently prohibited. See the MOA Recreational Burn Guidelines (2019) for further information on recreational burning and always check the "Is Today a Burn Day" webpage or call the Burn Hotline at 907-267-5020 prior to starting a fire. When having a recreational fire, be a good neighbor and consider how your fire affects your neighbors.
