Update on July 6 at 1:19 p.m.: The area is stabilized and one person has been detained. Officers are still clearing the area in an abundance of caution. San Gabriel Police expect to be at the scene for the next several hours to fully clear the area. Residents are advised to avoid the area.
Original message: Please avoid Las Tunas Drive between Muscatel Avenue and Walnut Grove Avenue due to police activity. Traffic is closed in both directions along Las Tunas Drive. Those near the area are advised to remain indoors.
