Failure To Appear warrant nets Oakland City man on new charge. 
On July 7, 2021, at 1:22 p.m. officers went to 306 North East Mill Street in Patoka to serve a Failure To Appear Arrest Warrant on 34-year-old Brett Ricketts of Oakland City. During a search of Mr. Ricketts while he was taken into custody a Hypodermic Needle was discovered. At that point Mr. Ricketts was transported by Deputy Jennifer Loesch to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with the Failure To Appear Warrant and the new charge of Unlawful Possession of a Hypodermic Needle. He remains in custody without a bond.
Assisting Deputy Loesch in her investigation was Deputy Jennifer Robb.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
