Dear Residents.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is visiting the area today and tomorrow.   The damage assessment team is already in Grosse Pointe City assessing damage from the flood.  The damage assessment team includes representatives from the Michigan State Police Emergency Management (MSP) , US Small Business Administration (SBA), and FEMA. 

All team members are wearing clothing with their agency emblem on their shirt or vest and they are also wearing clearly visible identification and credentials.  The FEMA team will be knocking on doors, speaking with residents and visiting businesses and homes in different areas of the City.
