On June 8th, 2021, Rutherford County Sheriff’s Criminal Apprehension Team with the assistance of Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics unit arrested Matthew Gerald Stamper on 12 Warrants for Arrest for Failing to Appear in Court. The Original Warrants that Matthew Stamper failed to appear for ranged from Assault on a Government Official, Multiple Larceny of Motor Vehicles, Multiple Breaking and Entering’s.
Matthew Stamper was arrested during motor vehicle stop conducted on Main Street Ellenboro and was found to be in possession of 20.4 grams of Methamphetamines and was additionally charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamines. Matthew Stamper received a 100,000.00 Bond and is currently incarcerated at the Rutherford County Jail. Matthew Stamper had initial appearance in District Court of Rutherford County on June 9th, 2021.
