The "Know Your Zone" campaign
In an effort to better prepare Lakeport residents and businesses for evacuation or emergency events, an interactive map has been launched online that provides important emergency information.
The Lakeport Police Department, along with its public safety partners, launched the "Know Your Zone" campaign. The map developed by Zonehaven can be accessed at https://community.zonehaven.com (url may need to be copied to address bar)and includes all evacuation zones in Lake County. Residents can enter their address and record their zone number and review zone details before the next emergency to be able to map their best path to safety.
