06/02/2021 *Larceny
200 Block of Diamond Circle – A complainant reported that while she was away, a known subject/roommate removed her property from her home without her permission. Further, the complainant believes the subject attempted a transaction using her bank account. The case remains under investigation.
06/02/2021 *Fraudulent Use of a Credit card
300 Block of Six Mile – A complainant reported that an unauthorized suspect used the credit card of her deceased son to make a purchase. A suspect was developed, but no charges were brought forward per the wishes of the complainant.
06/03/2021 *Medical Assist
1000 block of E. North Territorial – An Officer responded to a 68 year old male who appeared to be having a seizure. When the Officer arrived, the condition had worsened with CPR being performed. The Officer used his AED and continued CPR – NTFD and HVA took over CPR and a pulse returned. The subject was transported to U of M.
06/03/2021 *Misdemeanor – Driving on a Suspended License
Main St & 8 Mile – An Officer on patrol observed a vehicle exceeding the speed limit. Upon stop of the vehicle, the Officer discovered the driver was driving on a suspended license. The subject was issued a misdemeanor appearance ticket and released at the scene.
06/04/2021 *Trespass
200 Dartmoor -After an altercation, a complainant requested that a subject be issued a trespass warning as the complainant no longer desired contact with the subject.. The subject was located and a warning issued.
06/05/2021 *Crash Investigation – Vehicle / Pedestrian
Barker & Jennings – An Officer responded to an early morning crash involving a pedestrian. The driver of the vehicle stopped and was cooperative. The pedestrian was transported to U of M with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
06/06/2021 *Malicious Destruction of Property
7500 Block of Nollar – A complainant reported that at approximately 2:18 am she heard a loud explosion and discovered his mailbox broken apart. An Officer arrived and observed pieces of wood and metal scattered along Nollar Rd which was consistent with an explosion. Additional evidence was observed suggesting explosive type products were used to cause the damage. The case remains under investigation.
06/07/02021 *Arrest – Misdemeanor Driving on a Suspended License
300 block of 6 Mile Rd – An Officer observed an unregistered vehicle and upon a traffic stop discovered the driver was suspended. The vehicle was legally parked and the driver was arrested and issued a citation.
06/08/2021 *Accidental Property Damage
Lake View Ave – An Officer responded to assist a homeowner who had witnessed a large vehicle attempt to maneuver around her mailbox. After the vehicle had left the area, the homeowner discovered damage. The Officer contacted the company involved who will work with the homeowner regarding the damage.
06/09/2021 *Attempt Fraud
700 block of N. Territorial – A complainant reported receiving a promotional call from “Dean” an individual representing himself as a Spectrum Sales rep. After signing up and providing a credit card to the caller, the complainant received notification of an unauthorized $500.00 transaction. The transaction was stopped along with two additional $500.00 attempted transactions. The complainant cancelled her credit card and will monitor her credit report.

06/11/2021 *Larceny
9300 block of Main St –A victim reported that she left an unattended cell phone and charger plug into an outlet and when she returned both were missing. No witnesses were available at the time of the incident. The phone was traced to a local residence, but no contact could be made with the occupants. The case remains under investigation.
06/12/2021 *Accidental Property Damage
7900 block of Nollar – A complainant reported that while driving on Nollar his vehicle’s windshield was struck by a golf ball. A report was taken and the driver was advised to contact his insurance company.
06/11/2021 *Lost or Stolen Handgun
–A complainant reported that after the death of an acquaintance her handgun could not be located. After an Officer exhausted all leads, the gun was entered into the computer system as stolen.
06/13/2021 *Arrest - Operating While Intoxicated - Crash
7 Mile & Earhart – An Officer responded to a one car vehicle crash off the roadway. While the Officer spoke with the driver of the vehicle, the Officer observed signs of intoxication. A preliminary chemical breath test further supported that the driver was intoxicated. The 21 year old driver was transported to the St Joseph for evaluation and a consented blood draw to determine the level of intoxication. The vehicle was impounded, and drug paraphernalia was discovered and placed on evidence. The lab returned the results which were more than 2 times the legal limit. The results were forwarded to the prosecutor’s office pending charges.
06/14/2021 *Illegal Dumping
9600 block of Main St - An owner of a dumpster reported that an unauthorized subject used his rented dumpster to dispose of personal documents. A suspect was developed and a vehicle identified. The case remains under investigation.
06/14/2021 *Hit & Run
Main St & Schrum – A complainant reported that when she was slowing to turn into a driveway an unknown dark vehicle struck her vehicle and continued northbound on Main. The responding Officer located evidence and located the vehicle involved. The vehicle was impounded and a suspect developed. The case remains open.
06/20/20221 *Threats Complaint
Main St – A complainant reported that an acquaintance she has known for years, but no longer associates with, has threatened her. Although the suspect currently lives out of state, the complainant feels he may come to MI with the intent to harm her. All Officers were made aware of the threats. The complainant asked for extra patrol and the Officer explained how to obtain a Personal Protective Order.
06/21/2021 *Larceny
200 block of Crestlawn – A complainant reported that he placed an order through ebay which UPS said they delivered on 05/10. The complainant never received his order. No suspects or witnesses were determined at the time of the report.
06/22/2021 *Identity Theft
3600 block of E Five Mile – A complainant reported that in January 2020 she had her purse stolen while in Detroit. After the theft of her purse, the complainant’s credit monitoring service has advised her of several credit inquiries, which they have stopped. The complainant has not been financially impacted, but was advised to continue to monitor her credit report.
06/25/2021 *Assault & Battery
6800 block of Whitmore Lake Rd –Officers responded to a fight in progress between two adult males. The fight had ended before the Officers arrived. Both parties and witnesses were interviewed, evidence collected and the report submitted to the prosecutor’s office for review.
06/26/2021 * Arrest - Fleeing & Eluding the Police
U.S 23 & N. Territorial – An Officer monitoring for speed violators, observed a vehicle traveling n/b on U.S 23 exceeding the speed limit, with radar showing a speed of 105 mph. When the officer attempted to pull the vehicle over, the vehicle accelerated and drove around traffic exiting US 23 at 8 Mile. The driver did turn off his lights and drove behind the post office to evade notice from the Officer. The Officer located the fleeing vehicle and arrested the 23 year old driver without further incident. The driver admitted to having an illegal substance in the vehicle. The substance was recovered and the vehicle impounded. The substance was forwarded to the lab and the case is open pending the results and prosecutor’s review.
06/26/2021 *Arrest - Fugitive Warrant
– Officers were requested by Oakland County Sheriff Department to locate a suspect wanted in a serious domestic violence incident. Officers were able to locate the suspect and make the arrest. The Officer than turned the suspect over to the Oakland County Sheriff’s holding the warrant.
06/26/2021 *Larceny from Auto
Links of Whitmore – A victim reported that while golfing she left her purse in her unlocked vehicle, which was parked in the parking lot. When the victim returned to her vehicle she discovered her purse missing. Also, the victim began receiving notifications that purchases were being made using her credit card. The case remains under investigation.
**** A reminder to Always lock your vehicles and keep valuables out of sight.
06/28/2021 *Fraud
9200 block of Hillcrest – A complainant reported that she placed an order through the internet for 2 lawn chairs and paid through pay pal. When the package arrived, it contained only blue pieces of foam. An attempt to email the company was unsuccessful. A report was filed and pay pal notified for a refund.
