Incident: Wanted Murder Suspect ***Arrested***

Suspect: Curtiss Booker Jr. 31 YOA and a Resident of Monrovia
Victim: Curtiss Booker Sr. 58 YOA and a Resident of Temple City
Synopsis:
Curtiss Booker Jr. has been identified as the suspect in a murder, which occurred on July 05, 2021. At approximately 11:16 AM, Rialto Police Department received several 9-1-1 calls reporting a gunshot victim, later identified as Curtiss Booker Sr. age 58, in the 400 block of East Chaparral St., in the City of Rialto. When officers arrived they located Booker Sr. lying in the front yard of a residence where he later succumbed to his injuries. Through investigation and witness statements it appears there was a domestic dispute between Booker Sr. and Booker Jr. which escalated when Booker Jr. shot his father. Booker Jr. fled the area prior to the officers’ arrival.
Rialto Police Department’s Detective Bureau is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Booker Jr. He is considered to be armed and dangerous. If you see Booker Jr. please call 9-1-1 immediately and do not approach him. Detectives are requesting anyone with information about Booker Jr.’s whereabouts to anonymously report information through WeTip at (800) 782-7463 or call Sgt. Detectives from the Rialto Police Department developed information that Booker Jr. was at a residence in Las Vegas. By partnering with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, U.S. Marshals Service and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), on July 11, 2021, at 12:20 p.m. Booker Jr. was taken into custody by LVMPD without incident. Booker Jr.’s arrest was made in the 6800 block of Baby Jade Ct., Las Vegas Nevada and he will be processed for booking in Clark County jail facility until his extradition back to San Bernardino County.
