Death investigation at Highland Lawn Cemetery 
On July 13th at approximately 6:45am, deputies along with rescue units responded to the Highland Lawn Cemetery on east US HWY 40 in reference to a body in the water. Upon arrival it was apparent that a body was floating in a small body of water within the cemetery. The deceased male victim was removed from the water. The investigation is ongoing, and further information will be provided at an appropriate time. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim. John Plasse Vigo County Sheriff
