SMPD arrests suspects with ghost gun, ammunition, drugs, evidence of identity theft, and possession of a stolen vehicle used in a residential burglary. 
 
San Mateo, CA –On Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 11:26 a.m. San Mateo Police officers located an unoccupied stolen vehicle in the area of N. Bayshore Blvd. and Monte Diablo Ave. It had been parked in the lot of a local motel, America’s Best Value Inn. The vehicle, a gray Audi, had been used in a residential burglary earlier in the morning in Burlingame, where the suspect led Burlingame PD on a short pursuit before evading police.
 
SMPD Officers were able to obtain security footage of the motel lot from management. It was determined a male subject drove the vehicle onto the property and then entered a motel room registered to a female subject. Undercover officers surveilled the lot and a short time later, the female subject, identified as Rosalinda Campos-Gonzalez, drove into the lot in her personal vehicle, joined by the male subject depicted in the security footage as having parked the stolen Audi earlier. Both subjects were detained, and the male was identified as parolee, Justin Adams.
 
A parole search of Campos-Gonzalez vehicle was conducted, and ammunition was located. During a search of the motel room, a “ghost” gun was found amongst Campos-Gonzalez’ belongings. Evidence linking Adams to the stolen Audi was found inside that vehicle, along with several documents indicating identity/mail theft. Drugs were also found on Adams person.
 
Burlingame PD responded to the scene and confirmed Adams was the suspect in their earlier residential burglary and arrest charges are pending. Both Adams and Campos-Gonzalez were arrested by SMPD on a multitude of other charges. Adams was transported to county jail and Campos-Gonzalez was cited.
