The Flood Watch is now in effect for

* Portions of Central, South Central, and Southeast Kansas, including the following areas, in Central Kansas, Chase, Marion, McPherson and Saline. In South Central Kansas, Butler, Cowley, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Reno, Sedgwick and Sumner. In Southeast Kansas, Allen, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson.

* Through Friday morning.

* Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue to impact portions of central and southern Kansas through Friday morning. Intense rainfall rates may lead to areas of flash flooding. Additionally, rises on rivers, creeks, and streams are possible.
