* Flood Advisory for... Northwestern Kalamazoo County in southwestern Michigan...
* Until 830 AM EDT.
* At 334 AM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated 1 to 2 inches of rain has fallen in the Kalamazoo and Parchment areas within the last 2 hours. Minor flooding is expected in the advisory area.
* Some roads may become flooded in low lying areas. Some locations that may experience flooding include... Kalamazoo, Portage, Eastwood, Westwood, and Parchment.
* AFFECTED AREAS: KALAMAZOO, MI
Instructions:
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Do not drive through flooded roadways. Runoff from heavy rainfall is expected to cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
