Smoke from the Tamarack fire, south of Lake Tahoe, is blowing into the area. No threat to Truckee area. No Sparks! 
Smoke from the Tamarack Fire looks to be blowing into the Truckee and Tahoe Basin this afternoon. This fire near Markliville has grown over the last few days. Local Fire departments have sent fire engines and other resources to the fire.
