SUSPECT(S): Armando Rodriguez, age 38 resident of San Bernardino
SUMMARY: On Saturday, July 17, 2021, at approximately 8:04 a.m., Deputy Zolfaghari, from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Central Station, conducted a traffic stop in the area of North Victoria Avenue and East Mirada Road in San Bernardino for vehicle code violations. Zolfaghari contacted the driver of the vehicle identified as Armando Rodriguez who did not have a valid driver's license. During a search of the vehicle, Zolfaghari located a loaded 9mm Ghost firearm, suspected methamphetamine, and six counterfeit hundred-dollar bills. Rodriguez was arrested for and booked into the Central Detention Center for felon in possession of a firearm and felon in possession of a controlled substance while armed; he is being held on $50,000 bail.
