NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
TUESDAY, AUGUST 3, 2021
Everyone is invited to join us for the Annual National Night Out being held at Overbrook High School on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. The event is sponsored by organizations within the Borough of Pine Hill, including the Pine Hill Police Department, Pine Hill Municipal Alliance, Pine Hill School District, Hope Chapel of Pine Hill, Volunteers of America DV and many others.
The Pine Hill Police Department has hosted a large National Night Out event for over ten years, with the exception of 2020 due to COVID-19, bringing together a wide variety of social service providers, community groups, and first responders. The event this year is a bit different than in the past, but will be at the core of the intention of National Night Out... strengthening communities by encouraging neighbors to engage in stronger relationships with each other and all community stakeholders.
The event this year will begin at 6:30pm and will include some of the following;
- PHPD equipment displays and program information
- Inflatable moon bounce, Bungee Basketball, & Swamper Stomper
- Refreshments
- JJ's Kitchen - 1 packaged sandwich (pulled pork and/or hot dog and loaded nachos) per attendee
- Water, juice, etc
- Bagged popcorn and soft pretzels
- Rita's Water Ice (always a favorite)
- The movie will begin around 8:15pm
- Please bring a chair or blanket!
Another goal of National Night Out is to heighten crime-prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime programs, and most importantly, send a message that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. It’s also the perfect opportunity to get to know your neighbors even better. For more information visit www.nationalnightout.org
