* Until 1000 PM EDT.
* At 655 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has already fallen over the same area that saw significant rainfall yesterday. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Rome, Boonville, Delta Lake, North Western, Frenchville, Westernville, Pixley Falls State Park, Delta Lake State Park and Stokes Corner. This includes the following streams and drainages... Mill Creek, Moose Creek, Ninemile Creek, Sugar River, East Kent Creek, Mohawk River, Wood Creek and Black River.
* AFFECTED AREAS: ONEIDA, NY
