Detectives with the Crimes Against Children Division arrested Ana Gonzalez for felony child abuse

SUSPECT: Ana Karen Gonzalez, 20-years-old, resident of Fontana
VICTIM: Confidential, 10-month-old female juvenile
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, July 18, 2021, investigators from San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Fontana Station contacted the Specialized Investigations Division, Crimes Against Children (CAC) Detail regarding a 10-month-old female victim who sustained a fractured arm.
On Sunday, July 18, 2021, detectives from CAC contacted Ana Gonzalez. After an extensive investigation, CAC detectives arrested Gonzalez. She was booked into the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino for violation of PC 273d(a) Felony Child Abuse. Gonzalez posted bail in the amount of $50,000 on Monday, July 19, 2021 and was released from custody.
