PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE
Part Time Position (27 hours per week)
Salary: $23.42 per hour

The City of Ripon is currently seeking applicants for a Public Works Maintenance Part Time Position.

THE POSITION:  Under general supervision, this position performs maintenance work in the upkeep of parks, streets, water and sewer systems, refuse collection and vehicle maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Qualifications for this position: Education equivalent to graduation from high school.  Prior maintenance experience helpful.  Knowledge of small hand tools and ground maintenance equipment.  Requires the ability to work independently. Position requires the ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds, bend, twist, squat, stretch, reach, walk, climb, and stand for extended periods, work outside and work in small or confined spaces. Must pass a medical and drug screening, and a background check which includes being fingerprinted. Possession of a valid California driver’s license.  Must live within a 35 mile radius of City Hall at the time of appointment.
