Flood Advisory until 05:45AM

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a

* Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory for... Northwestern Dolores County in southwestern Colorado...

* Until 545 AM MDT.

* At 238 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated a slow moving area of moderate to heavy rain. This may cause arroyo and small streams to flood. Between 0.5 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... mainly rural areas of Northwestern Dolores County East of Cahone and Dove Creek. This includes the following streams and drainages... Cross Canyon, Far Draw, Ryman Creek, Narraguinnep Canyon, Disappointment Creek, and Glade Canyon. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain may result in minor flooding.

* AFFECTED AREAS: DOLORES, CO

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
