UPDATE: The gas main and leak has been isolated and turned off. No danger to anyone in area. Gas will remain off for the next few hours until the repair is made and road will be impassable. Officers on scene to assist.
Due to a gas line being struck while excavating on Crestview Road in the aea of Van Duyne, residents in the immediate area are requested to leave the immediately.
Crestview will be closed until repairs have been completed.
Instructions:
