INCIDENT:  Possession of Child Pornography
 
LOCATION: Town of Apple Valley
 
SUSPECT:  Marco Antonio Luna, 38-year-old resident of Apple Valley
 
 
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, July 22, 2021, at approximately 8:09 AM, deputies and detectives from the Apple Valley Police Department, with the assistance of Crimes Against Children Detail and High-Tech Crime Detail, served a search warrant on the 21000 block of Laguna Road in the Town of Apple Valley.
 
The warrant stemmed from a cyber tip reported to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Crimes Against Children Detail.
 
After an extensive investigation, Marco Luna was arrested for possession of child pornography.
 
Luna was booked into the High Desert Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in the Victorville Superior Court on Monday, July 26, 2021. He is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.
